Legal Counsel – Aircraft Leasing – Europe
This client is a significant global player in Aircraft Leasing & Finance Industry. Due to continued growth this in-house legal counsel role is a new position to add to their existing team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a legal counsel in an aircraft leasing / finance company and have drafted, transacted and negotiated aircraft lease agreements.

As the In-House Legal Counsel for this Aircraft Leasing Company you will display some of the following skills
Manage the relationships with external legal counsel
Prepare, draft and review all legal documentation relation to the lease and financial structures of the lease agreement
Commercial negotiation of lease, delivery and acceptance terms with customers
Administration of legal documentation
Previous experience in aircraft leasing is a must

Assistant Manager - Transaction Management - Dublin
(6 – 9 month contract, starting mid-end Jan 2012)
The Company
This top tier aircraft leasing company requires a transactions manager for 6-9 months to cover maternity leave
Role
- Oversee and manage a team of 3 Contract Managers with responsibility for all day to day activities relating to aircraft lease contracts (e.g. receivables management, Letters of Credit renewals, insurance, maintenance reserves)
- Support a team of two Aircraft Deliveries executives
Requirements
- Banking, financial services, aircraft leasing background
- 7 – 10 years in mid to senior Operations roles (ideally in contracts administration and payment management)
- Accountant or Business Degree

The Technical Manager Position
This Technical Manager position is in a growing international aircraft leasing company which is a new entrant into Ireland.
Job Purpose
Be the technical representative on behalf of the company and provide ongoing technical valuation and management of a portfolio of aircraft. Ensure aircraft within the portfolio are airworthy and have all the required documentation / certificates.
Key Experience
- Recording of lease and aircraft data – lease technical conditions, and technical specifications
- Maintenance reserve management – control of opening balances, claim processing, lessor contributions, reserve rate and LOC escalation, reconciliation and utilization invoicing
- Audit planning, assessment of technical audits and implementation.
- Preparation and negotiation of LOI & Lease Documentation from technical perspective
- Project management and negotiation of delivery, redelivery, sale and purchase transactions of aircraft
- Provide support on lease technical queries to other departments
- Manage the technical asset throughout its lifecycle

The Technical Manager Position
Job Purpose
Being an Aircraft Asset Manager requires considerable international travel, often at short notice, to any part of the world where an aircraft is on lease. When out in the field inspecting aircraft or operators, you’ll have to work primarily independently though part of the Asset Management team.
Key Experience
You will report directly to our Head of Asset Management and become part of our highly experienced and competent team.
You are a certified and skilled aircraft mechanic/engineer, and perhaps complemented with an engineering degree. At least five (or more) years of experience in maintaining and repairing aircraft is prerequisite for this position. Experience in aircraft leasing with proven ability to manage aircraft lease transactions during deal prospecting, execution and lease management phases is desirable.
- Direct customer negotiations experience involving technical products and services.
- Good working knowledge of the aircraft leasing industry, its standards, and an excellent working knowledge of aviation regulations.
- Ability to establish respect and credibility through display of technical expertise both internally and externally.
Your English language skills should be well developed, both oral and written, and it’s an advantage if you have mastered any additional foreign language.
Most likely and desirable, you are currently or have been employed by an aircraft operator, aircraft manufacturer, aircraft leasing and/or MRO organization.

Credit Risk Analyst – Aviation / Aircraft Finance - Singapore
This top ten aircraft leasing company is expanding their operation in the Asia Pacific Region. They are now seeking a credit risk analyst to join their team in Singapore.
The purpose of this role is to review and analyse new and existing aircraft lease transactions with airline customers in the region. You will be required to determine the potential risks to the business by applying detailed financial analysis and the company’s internal credit risk grading matrix.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the credit/risk assessment of airline customers in Asia/Pacific.
- Approve credit reviews and credit ratings for existing accounts
- Perform in-depth research and prepare customer profile on new customers
- Prepare write-ups on new transactions and present recommendations to the company credit committee
- Provide quarterly reporting on the existing customer base.
- Work directly with the customers to secure the required information for new deal analysis, ongoing monitoring and restructuring of deals
Essential:
- A minimum of five years experience in a commercial finance/leasing environment with significant exposure in a credit assessment role
- At least two-three years experience working in an aircraft leasing organization
- Graduate or post-graduate qualification in business studies/accounting or related discipline
- Detailed knowledge of credit assessment techniques
- Knowledge and passion for the aerospace industry

VP Technical - Dublin
This aircraft leasing client is an established entity with operations in Dublin and mainland Europe. They have a new vacancy in their technical division and are seeking people with prior experience in the leasing industry
The Role:
As the Technical Manager this person will be hands on and familiar with both engine and airframe technical details. As well as the usual aspects of the role which includes deliveries and returns, this position will require a person to add value through their involvement of LOI negotiation and lease terms from the technical point of view.

Market Analyst / Support – Aircraft Leasing, Ireland Job Purpose:
To support the Marketing team with the preparation of marketing material for the marketing / remarketing of aircraft globally.
Duties:
- Collection of data from relevant departments to create fact sheets and documentation for aircraft marketing
- Create and manage marketing database comprising: typical lease length, lease rates etc. that potential clients would expect to pay for aircraft.
- Financial modelling: Perform IRR analysis of aircraft/portfolio acquisitions and projected investment returns.
- Providing customers with details relating to available aircraft (e.g. specs, LOPA, engine details, photographs, etc.)
- Liaising with the Technical Asset Managers to ensure all data used is relevant.
- Perform credit/financial analysis and risk assessment of potential airline clients.
- Assist in the preparation of lease marketing campaigns: Liaise with current and prospective clients, remarketing aircraft to potential airline clients.
Candidates should:
Have a min 1 years experience in a Marketing Support/Analysis role within the leasing industry
Ideally qualified to Degree Level in one of the following disciplines: Aviation, Marketing or Finance.
Have proven time management and project management skills
Have a genuine interest and knowledge of the aircraft leasing industry
