Credit Risk Analyst – Aviation / Aircraft Finance - Singapore
This top ten aircraft leasing company is expanding their operation in the Asia Pacific Region. They are now seeking a credit risk analyst to join their team in Singapore.
The purpose of this role is to review and analyse new and existing aircraft lease transactions with airline customers in the region. You will be required to determine the potential risks to the business by applying detailed financial analysis and the company’s internal credit risk grading matrix.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the credit/risk assessment of airline customers in Asia/Pacific.
- Approve credit reviews and credit ratings for existing accounts
- Perform in-depth research and prepare customer profile on new customers
- Prepare write-ups on new transactions and present recommendations to the company credit committee
- Provide quarterly reporting on the existing customer base.
- Work directly with the customers to secure the required information for new deal analysis, ongoing monitoring and restructuring of deals
Essential:
- A minimum of five years experience in a commercial finance/leasing environment with significant exposure in a credit assessment role
- At least two-three years experience working in an aircraft leasing organization
- Graduate or post-graduate qualification in business studies/accounting or related discipline
- Detailed knowledge of credit assessment techniques
- Knowledge and passion for the aerospace industry

Risk Analyst - Hong Kong
On behalf of a provider of information and consultancy services to the aviation finance industry, Peak Performance Recruitment are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Risk Analyst, to be located in Hong Kong.
Job Description:
• Assist the Head of Risk Advisory working on various consulting projects inc. Data analysis, market analysis, risk modelling
• Present analysis and supporting information to customers
• Product development through product ideas and review of current products
• Assist internal staff with education and training
• Attend conferences, customer briefings and other industry events
Candidates should possess the following qualifications/experience:
• Ideally Mandarin or Cantonese speaking
• Knowledge of finance structures used for big ticket assets
• Knowledge of the aviation industry is an advantage but not essential
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
