To facilitate the Company's growth strategy the following new positions have been created:

Regional Sales Manager - EMEA / CIS  

Sales Executive –     North America/Caribbean  

Sales Executive –     South and Central America

Sales Executive –     Asia Pacific 

The Organisation 

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) is the largest turboprop aircraft lessor in the world. Our diverse fleet of 150 aircraft also includes a large portfolio of jet aircraft.

NAC currently serve 30 customers in 20 countries and continue to pursue a global expansion policy. NAC is uniquely positioned to address market demand for aircraft leasing, in particular for turboprop aircraft.

NAC is a privately owned by company that has seen growth of 100% in the past 3 years. The company is head quartered in Billund, Denmark and has regional offices in the Ireland, US, Canada, Singapore, UK, France and Switzerland.

With a strong balance sheet the company’s growth strategy is set to continue the growth of the aircraft portfolio with ambitious targets over the next 3 years. This growth will be achieved through new markets, acquisition of new/er aircraft and increasing market share in other turboprop aircraft types.

Europe, Asia and the Americas all have regional sales managers who will manage and be responsible for the execution of sales activity in each region.

 

Regional Sales Manager - EMEA / CIS

The Regional Sales Manager position is the most senior sales and marketing position in the NAC Structure for Europe. It is anticipated that the Regional Sales Manager will hold a dual role of leading the sales Executive team members for the EMEA / CIS region as well as originate and close transactions of their own.  The role will report into the Chief Commercial Officer based in Ireland

There are currently 5 other members of the EMEA / CIS marketing team based in Denmark, France and the UK.

Key Result Areas:

  • Create and deliver the sales strategy for the region
  • Originate and identify new aircraft transactions
  • Remarket aircraft coming off lease from current portfolio
  • Negotiate LOI and lease documentation
  • Oversee transaction until close and delivery of aircraft
  • Escalation point for LOI and lease negotiations
  • Maintain relationships with current airline customers
  • Manage workout solutions with customers
  • Continue to enhance the internal processes
  • Manage effective relationships with internal and external departments to ensure transactions close smoothly and in a timely manner.
  • Represent the company at industry and customer events, seminars and conferences to raise the visibility of NAC and promote its business in the region

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

The suitable candidate should possess or display:

  • At least 10 years sales experience within the aircraft leasing industry
  • A proven track record in the origination and closing of aircraft transactions
  • Previous experience in a managing role is essential
  • Display proven experience in the coordination of teams to ensure the successful close of transactions
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Prior experience in the implementation of operational best practices

Sales Executive Positions  

The following positions are new positions within NAC’s sales functions. The roles have been created to facilitate the company’s strategic growth. Ideally applicants will be based within the assigned areas. 

Sales Executive –     North America/Caribbean  

Sales Executive –     South and Central America

Sales Executive –     Asia Pacific 


Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager for the dedicated region you will be responsible for developing new business for the leasing of both new and used aircraft and achieving agreed revenue targets within your market.  

The role requires the individual to develop a portfolio of new customers and manage relationships with existing customers with a view to profitably expanding and extending those relationships. It also requires close liaison with internal departments and external agencies to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

The role places an unusually high level of responsibility and accountability on the individual, who must be able to operate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, whilst meeting hard time deadlines created by aircraft delivery, lease completion or accounting periods.


Key Result Areas

  • Development of aircraft leasing and trading opportunities with both existing and prospective clients in the assigned regions through an active program of client and prospect visits.
  • Manage existing customer relationships in a manner consistent with providing a high level of customer service while profitably managing and growing NAC’s business.
  • Identify and anticipate new areas of opportunity within the assigned region and globally in furtherance of NAC’s business objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry and customer events, seminars and conferences to raise the visibility of NAC and promote its business in the region

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

The candidate should be able to demonstrate or develop the following:

  • A high level of presentation, communication and influencing skills.
  • Proven track record of leading contract negotiations and closing aircraft leasing or trading transactions. Also, the ability to analyse and assess the initial components of an aircraft leasing transaction.
  • Self motivated with ability to manage their own work load and create leasing or trading opportunities for NAC from their own network or prospecting activity.
  • Fluency in English is essential, a relevant language a definite asset.
  • Prior experience within the aircraft leasing industry for the relevant region with experience in the regional aircraft market a distinct advantage. Most important is a person’s ability to source and execute new opportunities in line with NAC’s growth strategy.

The Package
